They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, and it appears...........  Beyonce certainly thinks so.

As she sunbathed, she wore just a simple bikini, cotton wrap, and her huge flawless 16-carat engagement ring.

It must be a good fit - the Crazy in Love singer even kept it on when she jumped into the pool to cool off.

Former Destiny's Child singer Beyonce, 27, married rapper Jaz Z in a private ceremony in front of their friends and family earlier this year.

Although her 38-year-old husband was elsewhere Beyonce seemed to be enjoying herself on the beach. She was joined in Miami by her 21-year-old sister Solange.

While bare footed Beyonce was in the holiday spirit her entourage were hard at work. Her relaxed style was somewhat spoilt by the six musclebound security guards who stood guard in black suits as she sunbathed admiring her gorgeous diamond engagement ring!
