Certified Diamond Engagement Rings
All our diamond engagement rings come with an appraisal certificate but for those of you that would prefer a international lab certificate we have introduced our new certified engagement rings range, read on. You are probably looking at 18ct White or Yellow Gold or even Platinum, famous for its natural whiteness. The diamond however is a different ball game altogether. Your reassurance comes from the diamond certificate but beware, since low quality diamonds can be certified also. Catalogues displaying rings as "certified," do nothing to provide reassurance if no quality is specified. We would advise you to always purchase the highest overall quality of diamond that your budget allows.
Try to consider a diamond engagement ring that is white and is fairly clean. Any diamond below J in colour will start to display a yellowish tint. Also, a diamond below P1 (I1) clarity will have marks quite visible to the naked eye. Diamonds above H colour and SI clarity will look white and clean without you needing to pay a premium as you would for much higher colours and clarities. If you can stretch your budget further, you can go for larger stones, cleaner stones or whiter stones, or even a combination.
